Dr. Jemimah Njuki, Senior Program Officer, Canada's International Development Research Centre, IDRC.

Jemimah Njuki is a Senior Program Officer Canada's International Development Research Centre, IDRC. Prior to joining IDRC, she led the multi-country program on Women and Agriculture at CARE USA, the Poverty, Gender and Impact Program at the International Livestock Research Institute and served in several capacities at the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture. She has worked extensively in Africa and Asia on gender and agriculture research and development and has published widely including two books on Farmer Innovation, and Women and Livestock in Eastern and Southern Africa. Jemimah is the Chief Editor of the Journal of Gender, Agriculture and Food Security and also serves in the Scientific Advisory Committee of McKnight Foundation's Collaborative Crops Research Program. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania and a Bsc in Dairy Science and Technology from Egerton University
